Love the Lace up closure. Saves me some time and is somewhat adjustable. I purchased them because of how they looked and because I could order a narrow width in a size nine. Hard to find in my area. These shoes are comfortable and sturdy. I would purchase them again for how they feel.
This shoe is not consistent in size with the three other pair of Nike that I have. They are all 9M, and this one is, too. The other ones fit great and I like they very much. However, this one is too narrow and too short. I have returned this pair for a refund. I really like ShoeBuy's policy of paying return shipping when the customer is dissatisfied.
I wear a custom made orthotic on my right foot. Until this purchase I was unable to get this orthotic in anything except a men's Nike, which felt clumsy and awkward. Now, because this is a woman's shoe, I don't find myself stumbling at all. I have a bad foot but I am relieved I probably won't break something else wearing men's shoes. Also, the closures are more comfortable than a tie shoe has ever been.
The shoes are light, cushioned for all day walking. I find the straps have to be adjusted depending on my activity. I need to tighten them when walking because my foot tends to slide around inside. (I wear socks with them). I need to loosen the straps because they make the top of my foot hurt. I would appreciate a better arch support. Overall I'm pleased but they take a bit of work.
